Stacy L. Christiansen, MA, chair of the AMA Manual of Style committee (now in its 11th edition) and managing editor of JAMA, has worked in medical publishing for more than 20 years. She has taught in the University of Chicago Medical Writing and Editing Program and is an active member of both the Council of Science Editors (including as a faculty member for the Short Course for Manuscript Editors) and the American Medical Writers Association. She was a coauthor of the 10th edition of the AMA Manual of Style and is the resident tweeter for the manual.
