Martin Whiteford

Publishing Development Manager for Healthier Lives
Emerald Publishing

Martin Whiteford is the Publishing Development Manager for Healthier Lives at Emerald Publishing. Martin collaborates with academics, pracademics and practitioners to promote research and learning that aligns with the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). He is also responsible for coordinating Emerald’s Indigenous Voices Advisory Board, which aims to promote Indigenous-related research and more equitable publisher–researcher relationships. Prior to entering academic publishing, Martin held research posts at the University of Liverpool and Glasgow Caledonian University.
