Tracy Frey, BA, is Deputy Managing Editor of the JAMA Network specialty journals and has held editorial positions there for 20 years. She is a member of the AMA Manual of Style committee, a coauthor of the 11th edition of the AMA Manual of Style and lead author of the Inclusive Language section, and a contributor to the AMA Style Insider blog. She is also a member of the Council of Science Editors, the CSE DEIA Committee, and AMWA.
