Margaret Lartey is a Professor of Medicine at the University of Ghana Medical School and a Physician with specialist training in dermatology and infectious diseases working at the Korie Bu Teaching Hospital. She is the deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Ghana Medical Journal which is a member of the African Journals Partnership Project.(AJPP). The Council for Science Editors is one of the key partners of AJPP supporting the training and capacity building of journal and managing editors and managing funds provided by the National Library of Medicine. Her research areas are in HIV infection and comorbidities and she has published widely.
