Emily L. Ayubi, MA, is the Director of APA Style at the American Psychological Association. She directed the revision of the seventh edition of the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association. Rooted in guiding principles of inclusion and accessibility, this edition has helped millions of readers around the globe write with clarity, precision, and inclusion.

She was raised in Latin America and is dedicated to ensuring inclusion, respect, and intercultural awareness in scholarly communication. Her background in organizational management, psychology, and STM publishing and commitment to advancing inclusive writing led her to establish the APA Style unit in 2015.
