David Kim is Director of Partnerships and Open Access Research at JMIR Publications, where his efforts focus on OA capacity building with academic institutions, funders and societies to disseminate critical research in digital health and accelerate the global transformation to open science. Previously with Wiley, David has served in functions across society editorial management and corporate solutions sales, and was a 2020 SSP Fellow. David is an active advocate for underrepresented communities in research and professional practice, including as board advisor to the Women In Science At Columbia group and serving as an education coach with Liberty In North Korea.
